Welcome the the first edition of The Nest Newsletter. Every month we'll be sending our subscribers a newsletter announcing news and events at The Nest.

We're looking forward to the month of October, as it brings fall colors, pumpkins and of course, Halloween. Be on the look-out for your kids arts and craft projects to include leaf rubbings, scarecrow faces, black cats and spider webs. Story-time and group activities will focus on the season as well. STAY AND PLAY ON MONDAYS

Every Monday parents with children of ALL AGES may participate in our Stay and Play on Mondays. The cost is $5 per hour for each child and allows parents an opportunity to stay at The Nest and play with their children in our spacious play center. It is a perfect outlet for parents to spend time playing with their kids, plan a play date, or meet new friends.

Of course, our flexible drop and play is available as always. The choice is yours...

WE ARE A NUT-FREE FACILITY

After listening to feedback from our customers, we are pleased to announce a new policy at The Nest. In order to provide an environment that is safe and fun for all children, we will adhere to a strict nut-free policy. In addition to providing complimentary snacks that are nut-free, we will continue to follow important safeguards to reduce the risks associated with all types food allergies.

If you choose to send a lunch/dinner/snack with your child, please make sure there are no nut products in your child's meal.

HALLOWEEN AT THE NEST

Friday, October 30th is Halloween at The Nest. Let your kids dress up in their costumes and bring them in for a howling good time! Can't join us that day?? Parent's Night Out will be just as spooktacular!!

The Nest will be CLOSED on Saturday, October 31 so that families can participate in their own Halloween festivities.

Holiday Hours and More
Mark Your Calendar! The day after Thanksgiving, the Nest will open at 7am so that you and your friends and family can take advantage of the great Black Friday sales without your kids in tow. Coffee will available for parents and breakfast treats will be offered to the kids. Make your reservations now!

In addition, The Nest will open at 10am on Saturday's during the holiday season.

HEALTHY SNACK RECIPE

Halloween Snack Mix

1 cup of pretzel sticks
1/2 cup of raisins
1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup of cranberries

1/2 cup of Marshmallow ghosts

Mix all ingredients together and serve.
