In celebration of Independence Day, The Nest will be CLOSED Saturday, July 3rd.  Parent's Night Out will resume next Saturday, July 10th.  See you then! LOCAL CELEBRATIONS What better reason to celebrate than our country's birthday!  Don't have any 4th of July plans yet?  Why don't you start your day off at the Bothell Freedom Festival with a pancake breakfast and parade, then head over to Woodinville for the Red, White and BLUESFEST at Wilmot Gateway Park, and finally, wrap your day up with a fireworks display in Kenmore.  For more information, click here.  SUMMER SATURDAYS Nothing says summer better than a quiet stroll in the park, patio dining at your favorite restaurant, backyard BBQs, and evening weddings.  But if none of those tickle your fancy, we've gone ahead and found a few more things that might.  How about the Summer Concert Series at Chateau Ste. Michelle, Kirkland Uncorked, outdoor concerts at Marymoor Park, or Bite of Seattle.  Coincidentally, all of these events take place on Saturday evenings and so do Parent Night's Out at The Nest!  If you plan to enjoy any fun summertime celebrations, be sure to call on us for your childcare needs.  As usual, we are open Saturday nights this summer for kiddos ages 2-9 to enjoy art projects, G-rated movies, games, Wii, and new friendships. Whatever, whenever, the time is yours...go have fun and leave the childcare to us! **Please note:  Reservations are STRONGLY recommended.  The Nest will be closed Saturdays, July 3rd and September 4th.  FALL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS    We know, we know.  Summer JUST got underway and we're already talking about our fall enrichment programs.  That's because we've made some changes that we're excited to tell you about!  As always, these fun-filled classes will give children the opportunity to learn, create, explore, and discover fun and exciting things about their world.  Classes include structured play activities, teacher directed academics, art, science, and a whole lot of fun! So what's different you ask?  Beginning in September, classes will be offered in 12-week sessions rather than monthly ones.  Not only does this provide a cost savings, but it also saves you the hassle of registering for a new class every month and worrying that you might not get your spot!  Plus, longer sessions provide your little one an opportunity to settle into consistent routines, develop lasting friendships, and enjoy more of our fun and engaging monthly themes.  Fall session begins September 7th.  Classes meet each Tuesday based on your child's age.
