We believe a strong educational foundation is built on fun, play and learning while we nurture your young child to grow academically, socially and emotionally.

Our Preschool program is tiered to introduce, build and graduate from while at The NEST.

Your child’s first step is in our Lil Flyers program, a consistent one-day a week 12-week program, as an introduction to a structured learning environment for children ages 2.5-3 years of age. Diapers okay.

Preschool at The NEST is a creative-arts based program structured to help your child become an engaged and eager life-long learner. Your child will develop the skills necessary to perform successfully in early education through building self-confidence, strengthening peer and teacher relationships as well as independence through play, exploration and structured activities.  We follow a theme based curriculum built on the foundations of creative arts. Our classroom environment is made up of developmentally appropriate stations with additional focus on reading, math and introductory handwriting. Communication is key to our program and your child’s education.  Twice a year (Christmas and End of School Year) we require a Parent Teacher conference.

Pre-K at The NEST is just that. We are introducing your child to Kindergarten. As the State of Washington is transitioning to a full-day only Kindergarten option, families are wondering “IS my child ready?” Trust us. In our Pre-K program, your incoming Kindergartener will have the upper hand as he or she will have less anxiety and more confidence when learning common core math, language arts and writing practices introduced in the public school system. The skills they hone in our Pre-K program will aid them for years to come. After completing our tiered program of Lil Flyers, Preschool and Pre-K you will see your little one soar!

The Nest offers a social and creative environment where children ages 2-6 can play, learn and develop social skills. We have clients from Woodinvile, Bellevue, Redmond, Monroe, Maltby, Kirkland, Seattle
