Staff Biographies
Meredith Doleac, Owner
While Meredith’s current job is that of a full-time mom to her three young children, she has several years of prior experience working in an educational setting. Upon completion of a degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University, Meredith taught both 4th and 6th grade. She went on to earn a Masters Degree from the University of Utah in Educational Leadership and Policy, and served as both a middle school assistant principal and elementary principal for several years. She considers working with children to be one of the best jobs there is and is happy to bring some of that experience with her to The Nest.
Jana Maas, Owner
Jana is a stay at home mom raising her two children, which has its joys and challenges as any mother can attest to. Prior to motherhood, she earned a Business Administration degree from Southern Utah University. Jana worked in marketing roles for 12+ years, which included agency and brand development. When not shuttling her kids around Jana likes to run, golf, ski and hike.
Miranda Noe, Director
Miranda has been a stay at home mom for the past six years to her two children, ages six and three. Prior to being a mom she was in car business as an administrator. She also worked at Talbot’s Kids, as well as various other day camps in Bellevue. Miranda loves working with kids and being around their contagious smiles.
Sarah Huotari, Lead Teacher
Sarah has worked with children in the preschool and childcare field for the past 5 years and enjoys socializing and interacting with them. She has worked both as an assistant and lead in a Montessori school and taught at an English daycare in Finland. Children are the center of her life and the development, creativity and happiness in them is what she loves to witness! When not working, Sarah enjoys being an auntie and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys training for marathons, hiking and being in the outdoors. Reading and playing the piano are her favorite pastimes. Sarah loves sharing laughter and happiness with the children at the Nest!
Jennifer Barchet, Teacher
Jenn has over 5 years of teaching experience in early childhood education. She also has several years experience working with children with special needs ranging from 2-18 years of age. Jenn earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Washington and a degree in Child Care Management from Lake Washington Technical College. Jenn has a passion for working with children and enjoys seeing their curiosity and creativity flourish.
